Hyde Park in Perth is a beautiful and well-maintained park with numerous options to keep visitors interested. It is known for its lakes and birdlife, multiple playgrounds, exercise equipment, walking paths, historic Moreton Bay fig trees, coffee shop, clean toilets, and BBQ facilities. However, the only downside mentioned by some visitors is the lack of parking. Many people recommend the park for picnics, family gatherings, events, or just for a relaxing day out. Other activities you can enjoy include jogging, walking, cycling, or doing yoga.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
